Edinburgh Tattoo - 2010 Diamond Jubilee

Set against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the world's most spectacular Tattoo will host a celebration of talent from four continents including pipers, gymnasts, singers, dancers and an amazing motorcycle display team. The emphasis is again very much on music with the event expected to delight an international crowd with its rich variety.
Day 1 - Travel north across the border, past Gretna Green to visit Moffat. Then on via Beattock Summit and the Scottish Lowlands for our two night stay.Your evening meal is included tonight.
Day 2 - After breakfast and a leisurely morning we "take the high road" bound for Edinburgh. There is plenty of free time to enjoy all the excitement and events around Edinburgh, your driver will arrange a pick up point and time to go up to the Castle for the highlight of the tour - The Tattoo. In the glowering twilight, Edinburgh Castle slumbers, resting, waiting for nightfall and for the footlights that will transform it into a dazzling stage set for the world's most spectacular show. Fabulous show over, it's back to our hotel for the night.
Day 3 - After breakfast we head for home with a lunch stop en route at Gretna Green. The World Famous Old Blacksmith's Shop is one of Scotland's earliest visitor attractions... curiosity has attracted travellers to visit Gretna Green since the middle of the 19th Century. The first visitors would peer through the windows trying to catch a glimpse of a run-away couple marrying over the anvil.
